The butterfly roof is a proposal for a market. Architecturally the roof is a linking space between two roads at the heart of King’s Cross providing easier access for pedestrians to get to their destination. Some of the materials used are steel frame structure which can be recycled and is lightweight. Polycarbonate and fibre reinforced plastic which minimises the cost, and weight to the structure.
